➢ Fiber connection for the broadcasting cameras for live stream purpose.
– Challenges/Risks
➢ Roads are under construction, so the telecom infrastructure that will be utilized for
extending the fiber to the venues will be exposed to damages.
➢ The broadcasting company is not placed in Qatar and will be busy abroad.
➢ Approvals from the third party (government entities)
➢ Budget shortage.

– Mitigation plans:
➢ Provide secondary fiber from another routes and request for network freeze from the
concerns in the government.
➢ addressing all the related risks to the higher management of Cycling federation as they
have leverage over the broadcasting company.
➢ preparing a full report for the concerns in the government about the importance of this
international event to prioritize and facilitate all the necessary approvals to complete the
work.
➢ Arranging for a presentation to the executive directorates to showcase the project and
the returns to gain their approvals to increase the budget.

projects, based on lessons learnt from this pilot project.
b) Report Assignment Aim:
The aim of this assignment is to prepare an end-of-project report that assesses and
evaluates the delivery of the pilot project and offers recommendations about delivering similar
future projects on a larger scale. 2 Within your assignment you will demonstrate an
understanding of project planning and implementation by developing a project plan and utilizing
it for monitoring and controlling the project.
